A battle against Mammon.

I could have killed him in 3 turns, but I wanted to show some spells off to people...

Including: Magic Barrier, Ultimate Wind, Walking Water, and several others. ^^

Sorry for lack of sound again... T_T;;

Quest64 & all related characters (C) something... I'll get the name here in awhile.

P.S. Yes, in 3:45 my plain stick attack takes off 200 HP... more than every spell I have with an exception to avalanche and extinction... (Extinction usually misses though... and avalanche works on him cause he's big.)

  • This was a great game, the game really started getting intense and fun after those haunted mines, when you got into the desert.

  • It's culex from Super Mario RPG!!

  • Did you actually try power staff lvl 2 and staff attack? And they should really have fixed the overpowered avalanche effect on him in some way or another because of size. And the fact the you have used a bug to recover hp and mp...LOL. Even if you wanted to show off all the skills you wouldn't have needed it

  • is this song from teh game its really good? maybe i should make an episode about it or add it to my quest episode.

  • @dailyuser2012

oh, i got everything i needed already

    no prob =)

  • @dailyuser2012 The only issue with the save states is that it cheapens the victory...

BUT there are some games that NEED it... Like Fire Emblem. That game is hard!

Ever play Fire Emblem 2? It's less scripted out, and more randomized than the newer FE games. So you have to keep loading state to make the enemy miss, or land a miracle critical hit at a dire time. -nod nod-

  • @VileVava i suppose you dont need one, but it would be a good investment for other games. i have emulators for genesis, nes, snes, n64, and even playstation1 along with roms for almost every game that was released on them, and for many of them, a control pad is the ideal control scheme plus it makes it feel like if you were playing them on the actual system. lol having all of that at my fingertips, along with the ability to use instant save states is like video game heaven.

  • @dailyuser2012 That's actually some good advice there..

Actually, with this game, you won't even need a controller, since it's schematics are pretty simple and don't require use of every last button..

  • @pumpaleeni i know its been a year since you posted your comment, but why dont you download an n64 emulator and download the rom for this game? then you can have it on your computer along with any other games you download. all you would need is a controller for the pc.

  • At the beginning, Mammon goes "Ha" 22 times. Perhaps he's giddy?

  • lol, you gotta love the music XD YEAH!!

  • Come on people, i can't believe all the people who are awstruck by the stats. For those less attentive people, note after every hit and spell cast, he still has 500 500. Dont that seem a little strange? But yes this game is awsome, one thing to agree on.

  • I always did think of Culex when I fought him.

    Culex: Uncle Mammon~ D:

Mammon: Not now boy! >___> I won't be out of prison for another 3 millenia's.

Culex: Okay. 3: *goes to Mario's world*

Dark Mage: Hey, just wait in the door and fight their strongest knight. Since our kind can't go in there. :B

  • This game has the 4 basic magic elements of Fire, Water, Wind and Earth, just like Culex's crystals. Coincidence? :D

  • Finding a controller pak these days would be hard. I mean... Seriously... The N64 was 2 nintendo generations ago.

They're probably cheap though, assuming you do manage to find one.. I wish you luck. It's really a great game~ :3

  • Gol!! I wanna play this game, but i don't have a stinkin' controller pack thingy to save it on. yep, i have this game, but it cant save without that stupid controller pack thingy ;_; which means i wont be able to play this.....YET!

  • Nice sountrack

  • ...Maybe that too.... RPG's take soo long to max everything perfectly. D8;;;;

    -hug-

  • It would take like 8 months playing all day D: to get all gems to 50!!!

  • I remember this game I beat it twice once in my middle school year and once again in my junior year in high school, I wish this game was on Virtual Console!

  • I must be honest.. I used a gameshark...

Training to get all the gems to level 50 would take ... several days...

  • omg thats alot of training

  • Naw, I haven't. I want t, though.

  • I know right? T_T I love this game too.

Have you played "Quest RPG"? It's a remake for the gameboy color. It's not as good with graphics or gameplay. BUT it has more of a story to it. You can really learn alot more about the game by playing it. ^^

  • I effing LOVE this game. I wish people would stop hating on it. This is and always will be a HUGE part of my childhood.
