  • I think after that exchange people might be reticent to comment on the video. So, I'll break the ice. When the solo voice towards the beginning says, "Criste" and holds the last syllable, that's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Also, the picture is wonderful. I wish I had it to make it my desktop background.

    Thank you. This particular album is my favorite recording of Gregorian Chant - and the most genuine I've heard.

    The photo is a streetlight across from my former residence. Somehow, it seemed to fit the ambiance of the music...

  • Sorry, Poindexter. I'm looking right at the lp cover - TRAPPIST monks. The life of the Trappists is guided by the Rule of St. Benedict..(ie "Trappist" & "Benedictine" are NOT mutually exclusive).
