although you got a lot of pus and infection out of the ctst, I think you should have cut right over the red spot. that looked like it was the actual spot of the cyst n you would likely have gotten out the center of it. Without removing the center it will just come back.

Unfortunately, that is not a cyst it is a large staph infection! Hopefully you treated that with a strong course of antibiotics or else that staph will stay in your system and you'll find many more pus pockets such as this one in the future of various sizes. If you didn't treat it medicinally, please do so, and soon. Staph easily transfers in the blood sometimes causing blood poisoning if left untreated. Just a friendly FYI.
