Well I just needed to show that I *am* doing something for Vampira.

You see:

1) I wanted to have a completely original soundtrack to avoid youtube copyright so I've been composing, or trying to, music. I'm no professional so it'll take some time.

2) I *ONLY* have the sims 2 BASE GAME, but I really wanted a car scene (you only get drivable cars in Night Life expansion pack) and so this is what that is- a test for the car scene.

---

I want people to know that this is *only a test* and may or may not be present in the final product- I am definitely going to add in more camera angles for this conversation- right now it's too stagnant.

NO COPYRIGHTED MUSIC/ SOUND EFFECTS WERE USED, ALL SOUNDS BELONG TO EITHER ME OR FREE SOUND EFFECTS WEBSITES. (soundsnap.com)

  • How do you make a green screen car scene?

  • @simslover6648

I use sony vegas 0.7 and it's chroma key function to super-impose several images (and moving images) on top of each other.

    Those images include:

1)a clip of the scrolling background

    2) The car interior (over a green screen wall)

3)The character speaking (over a green screen wall)

    Hope this was detailed enough.

  • Lol SURE!!!

    That'd be fun!! XD

  • Are you going to start using Sims 3 characters? =)

  • No, because,

    1) I checked and my computer does not meet the requirements- so the game probably couldn't even start if I installed it.

    2) Although I don't mind the look of sims 3 characters, I've already got tonnes of CC that make my sims 2 characters oh so purtee XD

    3) After sims 2, I'm thinking of old-school, animation, it's so much more malleable.

    4) Sims 3, currently, is more fitted as a game than filming tool- just like how a 'game' was meant to be used.

    5) More questions? ask away.

  • just a tad bit too choppy it's good though:3

also she looks a little green? try to like make a room with even lighting (windows) so she looks good? (if that helps)

  • Thank you I'll work on what you said, as for the choppy-ness, the trees moving in the BG is an old clip I took when I didn't know how to do smooth pan movements, this is just a test to see how it might look like, in the final product, not only will it be smoother but I'll probably put hills as drawn in my storyboard ^_^

    Thank you.

  • Ummm... wanna have a Jennifer Simpson voice-off? XDDD You're almost better than me.

  • Oh well if you get a smoother clip it should be all good

  • Oh the trees moving in the background is a video clip that was used in "Clock Tower: Cut Part 3" 'back in the day'. I've learned how to do smoother camera movement now, since this was just a test I wanted to see how it would look.

I would definitely be using a smoother clip ^_^

    Thanks for the compliment XD
