OMG Al obviously has no idea about how to handle a quilt like that. The artist must have just cringed when he grabbed it. The producers should have explained to him the value of the piece. It would be like playing catch with Barry Bonds tie breaking home run ball. I could imagine the mortification he would feel upon learning of the value of the quilt.

WOW I wondered about that pattern . she made her own pattern COOL HOW I WONDERED ? But I didn't think she could hand sew that in in 3 months .WAY to much to do in that time frame.I did a scrap block quilt from start to finish in just 3 months and my fingers were torn up so bad.The layers were all hand stiched and the binding also just went around the blocks nothing fancy like that. I would love to be able to do something like that .She is fantastic.

Al should not have touched that quilt with his bare hands. The oils of his skin could be transferred to the quilt and possibly stain it. He should have been instructed on how to handle it .l And also he should not have tugged on it the way he did. It is a thing s beauty and art.

I am a friend of Linda's and she did do the wuilt on a wuilting machine and deisigned all of the motifs or patterns herself.

Al needs to be informed that that quilt is ART! Would he have treated it so carelessly had he known. Moron...Someone should have called him out on it. It made me sick to my stomach when I saw him do that!

just how on earth did you do ,or get the pattern for that stiching ,and did you use a michane for that? no way did you hand stich that in 3 months did you?If so good on ya your fantastic and i wouldn't want to see your fingers after that lol.

Quilting, charity AND humor! How wonderful! I am humbled by her technical ability! I usually go for raw emotion in my quilts and have little ability or patience for that level of amazing perfection.
