Stupid Voice Mail Greeting

Extremely annoying voice mail greeting. I made it to irritate telemarketers and bill collectors.

too bad as soon as they hear the message they hit the call back button on the computer, or I'd probably listen and laugh uncontrollably.

Here's a tip because I'm actually a tele-fundraiser, the first time a nonprofit comes up on your Caller ID and you don't want calls. pick up, ask the person on the other end nicely to put you on there do not call list, and they legally have to. TADA! NO MORE CALLS. Oh and please don't yell, we're people too and all of the people i work with are really nice.

@imamonsta Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, my situation is a little bit more complicated. My home phone number is recycled, and the previous person to use it was a dead beat who never paid his bills. I've explained this to dozens of collectors, but it doesn't matter. The unpaid debt is just resold to another collection agency, and their first move is always to call me. I do a lot of stuff with a Dr Phil soundboard to annoy these people, but I lack the equipment to record these exchanges.

The easiest way is to hold your phone up to the computer while recording a new message. That's how I got it on mine. If you want to make your own, here's how:

I started by typing up the message in notepad, and reading it aloud with the built-in Windows narration software. I used a program called Audacity to record the audio and export an mp3 file. All that might sound complicated, but it only took about 45 minutes.
