I have posted these videos with no monetary gain of any kind. I've spent a lot of time editing and wishing for others to enjoy their visit to my channel. The only pleasure I receive is... the satisfaction of knowing others have wanted to see them. If you want to question motives, question those who seek to make a buck off YouTube. That is NOT ME! I just want to share my stuff with you guys.

I do not want to lose this account and want others to enjoy this channel as well.

grew up with my dad marching w.during stringband. Moved away and it doesn't get televised here. Can't seem to get anyone to tape it for me. Mummers parade is much better than the rose bowl parade. Yes the flowers are pretty but its boring I am sorry not compared to the mummers . Fun and excitement abounds.

the philadelphia new years day parade is the best in the country, it should be nationally televised.

I moved from Philly in 1983, I have asked family to record the Mummers for me and they never do. This is great the only things I miss from Philly are cheesesteaks, hogies & the Mummers.

@maribeth85 me too. Lived and grew up with the mummers. Was in an all girl fancy brigade in 1985=6. wonder if they are still competing?

One of the best things that I DO miss from Philly. Moved to Cali in 94... I miss my family, friend, the food, my teams LIVE at home, and Da Mummers... YO ADRIAN... IT's DA MUMMERS YO.

I so miss the Mummer's, there is nothing any place to compare..doing the Mummer's strut..love the string bands.
