  • I wish I could have played a set with them, everybody else did. Please induct BONNIE and DELANEY into the ROCK&ROLL HALL OF FAME, all their FRIENDS are there. Many, Many H-A-P-P-Y memories with B&D .

  • Delaney and Bonnie always had the best friends.

  • @SanFran1966 -where do you think jerry got it from??

  • there's some great footage of them playing this song unplugged at the beginning of the movie 'festival express'

  • You know, if you think about it, Delaney & Bonnie had done a "Rolling Thunder" type of ensemble long before Bob Dylan thought of it. I wonder if Dylan actually got the whole Rolling Thunder idea in '77 from all these great collaborations Delaney & Bonnie had in the early 70's. Well, it's just a thought. If not, it's a coincidence. And YES, what about Delaney and Bonnie getting into the R&R Hall of Fame? The group War gets in before these people do? Their music is closer to rock than War.

  • Lord knows I need this music after a day of work and earthly worry,sigh....

  • Someone posted Will The Circle Be Unbroken. Check it out. I'm not a believer but Halleluljia !

Going Down the Road Feeling Bad was written by Woody Guthrie and Lee Hayes.

  • Great Tune...

One of my fav's along with 'Giving Birth To A Song' from Delaney & Blue Diamond.

Still baffles me why that album has never gone to CD.

Would love someone to post the song!!!

  • hallelujah, I believe it was originally a Hank Williams piece!

  • One of the greatest LPs that most people don't know IMHO.

  • Leon Russell is on piano. Leon and Delaney were both in the house band on Shindig. Later, when Leon was working with the Beatles, he introduced Delaney to George Harrison and Delaney taught George how to play slide guitar.

Delaney was great, but I wish he had treated Bonnie as more than a glorified back-up singer. I hope someone will upload FREE THE PEOPLE and WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN because Bonnie shines on those tracks.

  • had heard the Dead play this a few times. this version is excellent
