  • @yuricbj So Entwistle, McCartney, Squire, and JPJ aren't "true" bass players?

  • pick is a tool just like fingers, amps or whatever..not learning to use a pick is just like asking a drummer to use one stick ....if you cant use a pick your only going to limit yourself, like slap, finger, pick, tap, all just tools to get the job done,..do it or not your only fooling yourself and limiting sounds you have open to you.,.pick playing is as hard as any other method to play right so why the anti pick gang??? some of you really need to open the ears and eyes and do some growing up!!

  • Using a pick doesnt mean you are better or worse. A pick is a tool used to create different styles and different sounds. I use both. Picks make for a sharper, cleaner sound, while finger plucking makes a deeper, melodic, fuzzier sound. There is no right or wrong, it all depends on the sound you want for a particular song.

  • saying not to use a pick goes against the early entwistle pick playing. yes, he actually played with a pick in the beggininng you can find pics on the net.

  • @LegoBricKing It's a dick bass, of motherfuckerbass

ummm i like the shit color, sorry this lke a shit hahahahah

you remember me? i have a guitar, a warlock ^^ with a vox... this sounds good... i do metal.. hehe

  • please correct my mistakes! i thoght that in this solo there was a bending!

  • throw away that pick!

  • You people are really funny. You all use advertising words like "tinny" and "warm" but don't give any actual advice. Non-musical fucks. As for a pick, like someone earlier said, it's just a tool. If you don't like it, well, that's too bad. It's going to continue to be a crucial piece to bass players that matter. Even if you wanna lie to yourself and say the greats don't use picks.... even though many of them do (even if it isn't all the time). Get over it.

  • y de fuck does it matter if he uses a pick. John entwisle uses picks sometimes to play this exact solo

  • del navo

  • @MrHenk1121 Flea uses a pick for the chorus in snow...
