Electric Skateboard

I fired up my old electric skateboard to demonstrate. As fun as it is I would recommend an electric bike instead. I've modified this one over time. The board originally came with 2 x 12v 7ah batteries in the base pushing a 24v motor. I added 4 more of the batteries in the top bag which is fixed to the board. It also serves as a trunk (or boot for my UK friends)for items needed for any road repairs. It gets wet here in Vancouver so I added the fenders because water will shoot up pretty high at full speed. They tend to make a lot of noise though.

@nickofzo it had this really ugly pattern on it that was mostly red initially. Instead I went with the silver surfer idea :)

I stopped an undercover cop once on my e-bike. His last words were have a nice day.. He was pissed. I was doing about 50-55k. He was just starting in the morning too. Poor guy, didn't have his radar on, I took a chance, but it felt good. You should carry a fake mini bazooka for that, with a trigger: Man reported on electric skateboard with bazooka, bound to make it on television. You might be considered a terrorist, but you can just say, it was only my throttle. haha! take care.

I actually got pulled over by the cops, someone reported a guy with a gun on a skateboard. The cops were cool once I explained but were cautious when they approached
