i respectfully disagree with you. But you've inspired me. I am now planning a book review video of Mr. Greenland's new novel. I even have a name for it: "The Diary of a Novel - Shining City reviwed."

I plan to incorperating portions of the los angeles times article by Mr. Greenland titled "Staight to video."

I'm a slow reader. His book comes out in early July. I have no idea how long it will take me to read Shining City.

Maybe you're right, blairtoo, but 550 views in less than a week? Still better than book-signing numbers. Also, he's had this posted on his personal site, so people I know who were buzzing about it were watching it there. It'll be interesting to see if the buzz grows or fizzles before the book hits shelves.

i was thinking that having a whole page in the los angeles times book review section dedicated to promoting my videos would be a wonderful, wonderful thing. but...having seen the lack of respone in this case, i guess i'm just flat wrong.
