OMG! SO AMAZING! It is completely innovative! It looks nothing like any iPhone that has been released before! You know, other than the shape... button layout... overall design... screen placement... and pretty much everything else... Way to go Apple! Let that creativity shine! May as well get the most out of that rounded rectangle you "invented".

In Steve jobs's day, iPhones were never leaked like this. It's incredible how accurate this is.

I could go on about this stuff for weeks on end, but I probably shouldn't. I feel that we have both made some good points, and come a long way from calling each other "ignorant". We just have to realize that we have different values in a phone, and agree to disagree.

Last point, for people who are only interested in those basic functions, what is the fascination with the new models? The new feautures are not relevant to those fuctions. You can do all the basic stuff just the same as you could on an older iPhone, or my Windows phone from 2005 for that matter. Sure it has a faster processor, but you don't *need* a faster processor than what is in previous versions for these things, even video. Even the upgraded screen size is smaller than most of the market.

That is what I meant when I said that the iPhone is fine for the basic user. And it is. Older people without a lot of technical expertise, kids, or other people who only want to do very simple things. But for someone who wants to get the most from their device, you simply cannot do that on an iPhone. That and Apple's business ethic is what turns me off from Apple products. They try to create a monopoly, which, while it may make money, is in my opinion quite evil.

There are actually many ways it is very limiting. 1) Cannot develop apps for iOS without a Mac 2) Cannot (without a hack) run OSX on anything but a Mac 3) cannot transfer media without iTunes. 4) proprietary cables 5) the pentelobe (google it) 6) iTunes only supports proprietary video formats 7) Almost zero customization compared to Android. Sure jailbreaking is "legal", but it voids the warranty. Rooting Android devices does the same, but you can do most things on Android without rooting.
