I am only wondering.... But does anyone else think this is almost a tester game before they bring out FFVII on the PS3? There are waaaay too many similarities...

just ps3 in japan tho! but considering japan is like ps3 central (not including wii) i don't think it's much of a problem!

lol, yeah have you noticed that some of the characters in VS do look similar to FFVII characters aswell

I also feel the story line its similar to FFVII, lightning being the female version of cloud, in the history she is a former soldier of the coocon army...and now she joins a group against coocon like AVALANCHE against shinra...they are many coincidences

Hey guys the battle system looks very similar to FFXII so i think the developers were just making a perfected version of FFXII battle system. I don't know just thought you guys might notice as well. Post your thoughts as well. I'm very intrigued by the battle system and this game looks as if it had an amazing story like FFVII.
