An important moment of expression in the nuclear disarmament movement set on record; in particular the vast crowds in Trafalgar Square at the March's climax.
the world is horrible nowadays compared to these golden days of a bygone era..obviously the changes in medicine and communications are for the better in general, but regards manners and a sense of community spirit i don,t think that this time in our lives can ever be surpassed.Everything was so much less complicated and stress ..political correctness were words never uttered, and life still went on.
now there's switch. police walking WITH the demonstrators--not dressed in riot gear, armed to the teeth. The Brits are so polite, or used to be. cheers.
