An important moment of expression in the nuclear disarmament movement set on record; in particular the vast crowds in Trafalgar Square at the March's climax.

  • the world is horrible nowadays compared to these golden days of a bygone era..obviously the changes in medicine and communications are for the better in general, but regards manners and a sense of community spirit i don,t think that this time in our lives can ever be surpassed.Everything was so much less complicated and stress ..political correctness were words never uttered, and life still went on.

  • Great film. Thanks for posting.

  • *sigh*

I was born in the wrong generation...

    I wish i was born in 1945-50.

  • I was part of the: "Ban the Bomb" movement here in the United States in the 50's.

  • now there's switch. police walking WITH the demonstrators--not dressed in riot gear, armed to the teeth. The Brits are so polite, or used to be. cheers.
