No, I didn't make this, Olof Gustafsson did - for at least 15 years ago.

This is the intro music from Pinball Fantasies played with Fasttracker II in DOSBox. Sorry for the unsynced sound, that's just how it is in DOSBox.

  • this brings back memories :) ^^ what prog do you use for recording the videos?

  • I use DOSBox' internal video record feature. Press CTRL + ALT + F5 during session to start recording. Use the same hotkey to end the recording.

  • ...and hypercam for non-DOSBox use.

  • This is such a great composition. Brings back lot of memories. It's funny, back then they had only 4 channels and the music rocked. Nowadays, they have symphonic orchestras and million dollar budgets - and what they do? Produce shitty music with bad melody and uninspired composition. These days the newest 3D-engine is the star of games. Not music.

  • Hey what a top MOD. Have to say one of the best theme tunes of any game. All of the music in Pinball Fantasies is excellent.

The amiga was a top machine for music making, custom sound chips working in turn with software made this machine a top piece of recording equipment. Electronic music production could be performed for as little as a few quid in your bedroom!

  • I absolutely have to concur with fellas below...just plain 4 channels, very simple synthetised sound and look what they did from it....whoever is an author, he's damn genius

  • @Grognax So, soooo true!

  • When this playback started, I thought: I remembered this track to be much faster than I see on the tracker. I didn't realize back in the days, that there was so much tweaking around the tempo. Slowdowns at the ends of the patterns are especially nice touch.

    Peace of art.

  • @aalataur Well, the diamonds of nowadays' music just drown in the ocean of shit. :(

  • Hard to believe all of this sounds on just FOUR channels...

  • Hey, can someone help me? everytime i select the "Soundblaster" sound output, the Fast Tracker crashes! :[

  • ......... foreverrr :)))

  • AMIGA FOREVER, Beast of a track. Thanks for uploading, got crazy nostalgia.

  • By looking at the commands this is a mod. No FT commands as far as I can see. I'm guessing it is made with Amiga, perhaps protracker.

Good mod though! A very good mod!

  • AMIGA FOREVER!
