This song sounds bittersweet to me. It's full of emotion but it seems almost lonely, like it's running ahead towards a "light at the end of the tunnel" but never gets there and "dies" (as the "dream" ends when the alarm rings) before it can reach its destination.

Maybe that's why it moves me. I've spent most of my life alone but that's because people rarely gave me a chance at being friends after they realized I was a "nerd". I used to try with all of my heart, but not so much anymore.

I was a cynical and discontent kid. I was never able to appreciate how beautiful everything is. I knew the world was amazing but it never sank in. I was always sad. then one day, a little after I turned fourteen, everything changed. Suddenly colors became so vivid. Art held so much more meaning. Music became almost tangible. For the first time I looked at the future with hope.This song perfectly describes those feelings.

I GET IT. It resembles a dream! In the beginning, the alarm is set (the turning dials), then you start dreaming (as soon as the music kicks in). The music keeps getting more active, progressing constantly, until the end (dreams are always the best when you wake up), when you hear the alarm and the synthesised sound, which resemble waking up. That's my interpretation, at least.
