A very large part of this episode is recorded in the boardroom. Changes of scenery make programs more interesting. We had to grind thru a pretty LONG time with the action going on in the same room. Not a good move.

I really respect that he offered Nicole an interview after firing her. I understand that he really had no choice, given the fact, the team no longer had faith in her. In fact, I feel he did her a favor by not allowing those other women to tear her to shreds throughout the duration of the season. (The attractive blond excluded, of course. She seems nice.) Regardless, Nicole's effort and exemplary professionalism inevitably "Trumped" her opposition and resurrected her career in business! :) Props!

I can see why he fired Nicole but I would have fired Masha for her attitude - in the long run she will do a lot of harm to her team.
