(8:26pm) The Story of the Archer Antonio Rebello and the translation of his thoughts about Lighting the Cauldron for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. Recorded & hosted by Dick Enberg during the Opening Ceremonies of Atlanta July 19th, 1996.
@nosuchpersonvideo Well Isn't that why Wikipedia as a resource continues to be improved on because of its users, who know more about the subject than others? And how about this: you can do US netizens a favor and help fix the flaws to make it more useful instead of pissing in the wind out here on YouTube and doing nothing!
Trivia: Rafer Johnson did NOT light the cauldron in 1984. He light the rings underneath, but a switch in the press box finished the job. Source: Wikipedia.
is it me...or did anyone else see the arrow fly over the other side of the bowl, not into it?

@hachibeach151 No sarcasm. I'm dead serious. Wikipedia is often filled with flaws because of its user-fed structure.

@nosuchpersonvideo Right. I can sense the sarcasm in your post indeed. That's because it IS reliable.

It looks like that the arrow COULD have hit the couldren and deflected out. The flame looks different as it passes past the cauldren.
