wow this is a great model but the sides are too intact i dont think near the engine room there is and plating but the stern is almost intact but other than that it is great ;) ive made the same model but with a bigger debris field but i dont know weather to upload it too youtube! a little help please?!

@sclen102 There is a painting of the port side showing it looking rather similar to my model and it also shows a section of hull resting by the engine. The starboard side hull I am still working on and I am about to start adding the decks to make it match the actual wreck. I've been working on the model since December last year, hence why it hasn't quite reached that stage yet. As for your model, I'd say upload it!

@SuperTerminatrix Firstly, you need to paint the ship in her normal white star colours and then you have to do progressive aging. First step is to glue sand to the hull and deck to represent the rusticle growth then you move onto phase 2 of painting which is spray paint using grey and brown (making sure brown is mostly covering the ship). Use a hand brush to reach places that the paint'spray hasn't reached. You then need to get a course brush and use a technique known as dry brushing.

@SuperTerminatrix Dry brushing is painting with very little paint on the brish to get a worn affect. Go all over the hull. By the time you are done the ship will fairly close to the colour of the actual wreck while showing through some of her original paint like the ship herself on the sea floor. It is vital you practice and take your time. This has been a collaboration of 11 years experience and 6 and a half month build for me and i'm still doing the finishing touches.

@SSPoseidon846 And be sure to make sure the brass/bronze colour of both the propellor and bollard tops show through very, very clearly...only use a very light touch of brown and orange paint. Note: use both medium and light-medium oranges.
