Even if its away from the beaten path, the DOLLAR is not to strong, so you end up paying more for a soda than in the States.

Anyway... some of the prices seem small to me and I lived in Europe (Austria) for 21 years! (I moved in US just last year). I didn't know Italy is that cheap... even Eastern Europe is more expensive than some of the prices you say!
