No, Ma Vie's still on Google Video. And yeah, you can get the DVD on Amazon; that's where my fiance got it. We actually watched it on our first date. We're both transgender, so it really hit home with us. It's an amazing movie and I definitely consider it one of the best movie portrayals of a transgender child (perhaps even *the* best) and the struggles trans children face. It's definitely one of those films that every person should see at *least* once in their lifetimes.

One of the greats, the lead actor, Georges Du Fresne, is the recipient of the European Tolerance Award, for this multi-award winning film that shows that not all people are clones. Typically, this film w/no overt sexuality or violence, was still given an R-rating in the transphobic, provincial-minded country of america.

Ye Gods i read an article about it in London and was intruigued then i got to see it at the Cinema on my trip to Toronto in 1998. A cute avantgard film.
