1:25 Rubik's Cube Solve

A couple weeks ago I bought a Rubik's Cube from the local Toys R'Us, and then downloaded Tyson Mao's tutorial for the layer-by-layer method of solving the cube. By now I've memorized all the algorithms and my fastest recorded time is 1:25:54 minutes. This is probably around the fastest I can get because I can't do any of those super fast finger tricks that the experts use and I'm using a method that's pretty slow. Oh well, at least I'm 10% as good as the fastest record!

New record: 27 seconds, but it was an extremely lucky solve, so if you don't want it to count I've got 56 seconds (done today)

Not sure, but my dad didn't mix it up too well so after I finished the first layer I had only 4 edge pieces on the 2nd and 3rd layers that were misplaced, so I used this trick I'd figured out earlier to switch them around.

before you can do finger tricks, you must lubricate your cube ^_^

use Petroleum Jelly instead or Vicks Vapaorub.

keep practicing..i'm sure you'll be faster w/ finger tricks..my fastest time for the Layer By Layer method is 54 seconds.
