Actually, we do know perhaps in a vague sense of what happens after we die. The Bible is filled with the answers that we are all seeking. Its just real hard to accept those things the Bible teaches b/c it requires humility from us. If the God of this universe is who He says He is then its not hard to imagine the afterlife that's described in Scripture. He is powerful enough to communicate those things to us. Yet, we still need Him in order for us to understand it.

you are still speaking blindly through your own religious views. Influencing others does not mean throwing your religion in their face. The Bible is not fact nor history. It is a group of stories thrown together.

If we could not use the word "religion" that'd be great! I am not a religious person. However, I am a firm believer in the God of the Bible. The Bible is fact and it is historical. Just because you don't adhere to its worldview doesn't mean its less authentic. The veracity of Scripture stands all on its own. I don't need to "throw it in others faces". Everyone will have to deal with the truth of God one way or another regardless of society's postmodern approach. And you're right..its HIS story.

Carlin was a philosopher in the very begining of his career, it just happened he was a great actor too so he decided to say his thoughts and philosophy.
