my teacher said to some kid in my class " that's not normal" or something like that because he was goofing or something and it wasn't during class time it was during lunch.. so i said to the teacher "normal isn't real, its just a word made up by society and make fun of the people who are 'different" Hell ya i got in trouble.. she just got mad at me for talking back.. but i felt like i proved a point. it made me happy:)

Conformity has led to some horrific acts in history. I think normal is finding a balance between your individuality and the needs of society or the community. The tension that arises from this balance, is everyone always questioning themselves, which is "normal". If we never questioned ourselves we wouldn't be moral beings. Our angst and inner tensions is what gives us a conscience it makes us painfully aware, it gives us conflict, it gives our stories a plot. Without it there's no life.
