Natural Bodybuilding Posing Seminar

I attended a posing seminar at J & R Fitness, in Eugene, Oregon.

Cecil Philips, an experienced bodybuilder in his prime, coach, and physical therapist guided us natural bodybuilders through our poses.

The following Oregon natural bodybuilders attended this seminar:

Casey (myself) - middleweight (My first competition will be at the 2010 Vancouver Natural Bodybuilding Championships)

Travis - light-heavyweight (Placed 2nd at 2009 Seven Feathers Bodybuilding Championships)

Randall - heavyweight (First competition will be at the 2010 Vancouver Natural Bodybuilding Championships)

Aaron - light-heavyweight (Placed 3rd at 2009 Seven Feathers Bodybuilding Championships)

Al - light-heavyweight (Placed 4th at 2008 Seven Feathers Bodybuilding Championships)

  • Even for natural bodybuilding you need genetics - 1st! It's a shame that there are guys like this that call themselves a bodybuilder and blinded by truth, i.e. you just don't got it, hey, not everyone can jump like Michael Jordan no matter how hard you train. This guy should not compete and waste the time of judges as well as the audiences...

  • @Maxartz2010 LMAO..........told you Aaron/Randy, everybody talks shit on these posing seminar videos, it's awesome

  • @CaseySmithBB No I'm not being negative towards you just honest. I mean it's like a person who can't sing but thinks they can sing. You simply don't have the genetics, bro,e.g.brother a natural bodybuilding has multiple INBA & NPC Championships ALL before the age of 19. He is disciplined in his diet, trains smart but most important has the genetics. You honestly think everyone has the potential to be an outstanding bodybuilder? Bodybuilding is an art and you just don't have the right canvas.

  • @Maxartz2010 Your opinion changes nothing, lol

  • Posing is an art form like dance. I believe you when you say that it's harder than it looks. Check out Luka Treska on YT. You look great BTW.

  • Thanks! Ya, I'll check out Luka! I am working on my individual posing routine right now as well as the mandatory poses.

You're right about it being an art form. As funny as it may sound, I wish I had taken a few ballet or yoga lessons in the past, it would have carried over quite well.

  • @CaseySmithBB Not funny at all. I know some football coaches who want their big linemen to practice yoga and ballet. It gives them moves and balance other teams don't have.

  • @CaseySmithBB good for u bro...fuck that turd. Jordan got cut from his highschool team . Keep training . thanks for posting this...very cool

  • Why don't you take your opinion, bend down, and shove it straight up your ass.

  • This guy has good tips because he says "do the ones that look good and the ones that don't look good pppt" and what he means is don't show your weaknesses or try to hide them as much as possible on stage which is very clever. Goodstuff man

  • @Maxartz2010 stfu hater.

  • Got Genetics?
