Once again this isn't meant to annoy...just my insight Please enjoy (" (THIS VIDEO IS GIVING YOU MY INSIGHT ON THE MICHAEL JACKSON PERFORMANCE, NOT MEANT TO ANNOY ANYONE. I USE TO WATCH AND STUDY THIS VIDEO A THOUSAND TIMES OVER) I have never been more captivated by Michael Jackson than watching him on this night. its historical for me. Even til this day I get goosebumbs from watching it beginning to end and over and over a few times...lol up until this point you seen Michael and you knew who he was but you never seen him unleash onstage like this. look at his workmanship unlike any other! for me as a dancer at the time before I started teaching dance and performing on stage watching this work of art...it was deep for me it was more than just the song the look the dance, i was already connected to MJ but now I was really mentally connected. I WAS INSPIRED! in the oncoming years with Thriller and other albums by Mike inspired me to dance ...i got in any MJ contest i heard of, performed at my school Lake Taylor High in Va. hooked up with Aaron Pauley my hip hop dance partner and mentor and danced anywhere we could even winning The Teddy Riley Annual Talent Search in Va.Beach 1st Place Dance Category, to taking my love for dance in the classroom and teaching kids and adults choreography and how to dance like the stars like Britney, Janet Michael and so on, Michael Jackson inspired me to do music which you can hear @ www.showcaseyourmusic.com/ronwess66musaq and he gave me a hunger to draw more(Portaits) just to say as a young child I Loved MIchael Jackson UNCONDITIONALLY and Still do! Michael Jackson is still my hero...sorry number 2 after God, he will be Madly missed!HIS VOLUME OF WORK AND HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS WILL LIVE ON AND ON...THE LAGACY LIVES! Thank You MICHAEL JACKSON FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE...I NEVER MET YOU OR TALKED TO YOU, BUT YOU STILL MAGICALLY TOUCHED ME FROM FAR AWAY AS THOUGH YOU WERE RIGHT THERE...LOVE U AND I HAVE BECOME A FAN ALL OVER AGAIN! NO ONE could ever compare!!!!!!!!!!! He looks as if he planned every move. I think he did. He is perfect. I grew up in the 80s and never really appreciated him. SO SORRY.

I was about four when this first aired. My parents recorded it on our VCR and we would watch it all the time. Then about 7 or 8 years later, my mom wanted to look at it, but some idiot had recorded a few episodes of "Full House" over it. I can't remember if it was I or one of my brothers, but she was pissed. I hope someday I can find it and purchase a copy for the both of us. It's still hard to believe that MJ is no longer with us. I will always be a fan and his music will continue to live on.

No one ever notices the similarities between "John Travolta's Grease" dance style and any of MJ's......they always notice James Brown, Fosse, Astaire, etc. You guys should check out "Summer Nights" with John Travolta and see a few similarities....."Grease" was EXTREMELY popular in the US prior to MJ's epic Motown 25 performance.
