Video showing how to assemble bullet connectors that come on many HobbyKing/HobbyCity LiPo batteries. My intention for this video was to show a general guide to how to assemble the special HobbyKing connectors. It's not meant to teach you how to solder.

  • @TheKingPhisher i'll take one please :)

  • @TheKingPhisher Damn... Not good. :( The 5,000+ mAh packs i am looking at for 2s and 3s use 5.5mm Bullet collectors as standard.

I'd either need to change the car to Bullets and add the plastic protector to all the Lipos (my preferred option) or change all the Lipos to Deans. But HobbyKing seemed to of been the only place i could find 5.5mm connectors and plastic protectors.

  • @Thezeronumber Yep seems like they've discontinued the 5.5mm now. I haven't looked recently at what kind of connectors come on their high discharge batteries but I think they use yellow squarish connectors so you may want to swtich to those.
