  • Hey, thanks for posting this. You touched on the one subject I've been super worried about. Of course I'm scared of going to another country, but my biggest fear is meeting people. I have a close group of friends and all, but I'm shy, so it took me a while to meet peeps. Was it difficult meeting people at TUJ? Do people of all nationalities mingle, or is it most cultures keeping to themselves? My best friend might apply with me, but the chances are pretty slim. Anyways, best of luck there! :)

  • Good question. There are actually lots of friends that come together and couples but if you go solo don't worry. I've made friends from all over the US and other countries too, I am a bit outgoing but that doesn't matter. Whats nice is that most people here are anime loving, video game playing geeks like myself. So finding people you have stuff in common with is easy, also check out the clubs list on the TUJ website, thats a great way to meet people who have a passion for the same stuff you do.

  • Thank you so much for posting a great video ^^ how is everything? Are you there for graduation or just for exchange? I'm Japanese and living in usa now and I'm pretty advanced in Japanese but I'm a little nervous especially entering a Japanese univ and since they are very competitive lol so I was thinking about coming here. but I have a few questions.. first, did you have to apply to a college first and then transfer from there or can you just do the requirements and start from there? thanks ^_^

  • @envyandgreed15 it was very easy..there is a math section and and english section to test your comprehension .and if i remember correctly there was a writing section. when i went they sent a sample test so that you could know what to expect. its really nothing to worry about.

  • how much did your plan ticket cost??

  • whats teh placement test like ? what i mean is what dose it consist of? i applying to go and even if i get in im not very smart, but im gussing the placement test is to see what classes youed be put in to is my guss? tell em if im wrong or right or anything thanks buy pple.

  • Thanks so much for the fast response ^^ I really appreciate it. Yeah, I love video games and manga, so that's a huuuge relief. It's not that I'm not friendly, I'll talk to people given the chance, it's more the fact that I'm quiet until I get the chance to know people, and I'm not big on starting the conversations. I'm glad that people mingle though, I'm really looking forward to learning about different cultures. How's the language program? I heard it was okay only, which surprised me a lot.

  • awesome! im so jelous
