Yeah cheers, "Exit the tunnel" surely thats what you do if you ride through a tunnel, you come out the other end! What else did they expect you to do live in it?

It would have been an easier ride but the exit from the road works could have been more difficult.

There was only 1 guy waiting the other end of the tunnel who was stood in the middle of the road and asked us to 'take the next left please guys'!

There wasn't really an security worth speaking of. When we entered the tunnel there was someone shouting 'Oi, Oi,Oi'. He didn't sound authoritative or professional, maybe he was the security team. It was all very open there, you can walk, or cycle, straight off the Hindhead Common into the tunnel. No fence to climb, there wasn't one there, an open gate at the side of a building almost beckoning people to enter.
