  • 2Hz refers to the speed of the water pump at the end of the circular pipe.

  • how does this work and what is it looks cool why is the smoke blue???

  • the experiment is to visualise the different types of vortex breakdown. the blue smoke is actually food colouring injected to allow us to see how the fluid flow in the pipe.
