I don't think you can call this "from scratch" when almost all the motion graphic elements are presets within Motion 3. A change in color hardly makes the difference.
The general idea of an animated DVD menu on the other hand is good and all.

Hmm, sure, I see what you mean. The assignment was to use Motion 3 to build an animated DVD menu, so I specifically wanted to demo what could be done using a mashup from the thousands of items in the Library, which most people write off as useless.
