its true everyone else sounded so 80s, while mj was just timeless, billie jean, beat it, wanna be startin something, dirty diana= timesless!

Well, actually the ALBUM was out in '79 but ROCK WITH YOU didn't reach #1 til '80 and then Off The Wall & She's Out of My Life were both 45 singles that were released in '80. Fact that makes the point moot. These are NOT geniune singles from the time of release, they are part of a 9 singles special set all in red vinyl.
