Nice tone and feel he's got....Kiss should do more of this. People will eat it up. If they can get away with Tommy and Eric wearing make up, then they surely can get away with the obscure, lesser played tunes. Plus, they could just do their hype routine and say that those songs were hits too.

@canconrox true..but if you look back through set list sure there are the standards like rnr all night..DTRC...love gun ect.. but they do chop and change a bit. this current tour they are doing 6 or 7 new songs. also remember kiss were very successful on a commercial basis, so they have to play those top 40 commercial songs to keep the majority happy. bands like metallica or iron maiden were not as commercial so they play more obscure stuff more often

@mammo8369 interesting point, and well taken. kiss give the people a great show - unfortunately for the most part it's the same show repeated. they've been playing the extremely rare tracks occasionally. do the kids that they try to appeal to and expand their fan base care? probably not. but on the same note, it might encourage those same kids to go out and buy something besides a best of package.

@canconrox the reality is if kiss play an obscure song in a 20, 000 seat arena 500 people go FUCK YEAH I LOVE THIS, and 19, 500 go WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT ?? rule of thumb...play to the masses, give them what they wanna hear, if you dont, you will end up like deep purple or styx, playing 400 seat night clubs and burbon bars
