SI CHAVEZ ES TAN MALO, POR QUE LO ELIGEN TANTAS VECES. ESTOS VENEZOLANOS SON BUENAS PERSONAS, PERO MALOS PERDEDORES. LO QUE PASA ES QUE LOS RABIBLANCOS AHORA NO PUEDEN HACER TODO LO QUE LES DA LA GANA, Y LLORAN COMO NIÑOS QUE LE QUITARON SU JUGUETE. NO PUEDO CREER QUE CON TANTO PETROLEO, VENEZUELA HAYA TENIDO HISTORICAMENTE TANTA POBREZA, Y DICTADORES, Y EN ESOS TIEMPOS ESTOS RABIS NUNCA DIJERON NADA.

THANKS TO THE CANAL THE U.S. COULD MOVE THEIR SHIPS FAST DURING SECOND WORLD WAR. THANKS TO THE MILITARY BASES IN PANAMA THE U.S. COULD CONTROL ALL THE LATIN AMERICAN COUNTRIES AND IMPOSE THEIR MILITARY POWER FAST AND EFFICIENTLY. PANAMANIAN BASES WERE INSTALLED TO DEVELOP MOST OF LATIN AMERICAN DICTATORS, INCLUDING NORIEGA, SOMOZA, TRUJILLO, VIDELA, STROESSNER, ETC.

WHY SO MANY IGNORANTS WRITE HERE. US BUILT THE CANAL TO SUPPORT THEIR IMPERIALISTICS NEEDS. PANAMA RECEIVED LITTLE MONEY AND PUT ITS GEOGRAPHIC POSITION. without the u.s. probably the canal would never be built, or built by other world powers. PANAMA COULD BECOME A COSMOPOLITAN COUNTRY, AND DEVELOPED IN DIFFERENT WAYS THANKS TO THE PRESENCE OF THE U.S. IN PANAMA. MOST OF THE WORKFORCE OF THE PANAMA CANAL HAS BEEN PANAMANIANS SINCE YEARS AGO.

"viva chavez"? that's the thanks we get from that jackal for signing over the canal to them in 1999? All I can say is that I hope the monies that the U.S. sunk into the project (adjusted for inflation) and that the peoples' lives lost from the U.S. was compensated (also adjusted for inflation).
