  • Is it me or do Tull sound better as one get's older. It's to do with the quality of sadness and yearning for things lost that songs like this one evoke. It might just be me, but this makes me want to weep into my beer for the beauties of things past.

  • @soverysneaky hmmmm you called me asshole... not very good thing to do, considering I posted this... ooops someone's blocked

  • "...and young girls shiver, as they wait by lonely bus stops... after sad parties.....no one to take them home . to greasy bedsitters and make a late night play, to lost virginity.... a thousand miles away......

  • @manlyduckling Heavy Horses does it for me.

  • I bought this in vinyl when I was a teenager and played it smooth.

  • Hey, look for the Orion post with the Hubble photo simulation typical of the birthplace of stars. Tull's "Orion" works pretty good with it.....

  • j'aime bien même si le refrain est un peu pénible.

  • I have 15 Tull albums and I have been a fan since the 70's. It was a privilege to be in the same room with them when I saw them in concert in London Ontario a few years back.

  • @willicat441 You hit the nail on the head there, "NEVER DULL", always 100% effort on every album, i cant think of one band that has made so many excellent albums over the decades, with Ian at the helm they have easily survived the years with a great legacy behind them, and still they march on, different members come and go but the quality never changes. Seen them 3x and met Ian once, nice chap signed my programme for me !

  • @willicat441 If you're looking for worthy successors, I'd recommend Okkervil River. They have the same sort of feel, only they're a little more on the Indie side.

  • @urbangrouse he, he... i got exactly the same albums on vinyl and CD. Stormwatch and Bursting out were their last masterpieces.

  • @TheBennjy18 Barriemore Barlow played double bass like most "heavy metal" drummers of the time could only dream of...see Bursting Out live album.
