Today I had most of the day to myself to do "whatever." So, I grabbed my camcorder, my scanner, and my cell phone and headed across the river to the UP Chester Sub at the DD Road crossing to check out the action. About 10 minutes after I arrived I heard the Warnock detector sound off, alerting me to a northbound. A few minutes later, a UP intermodal(Train I.D. "KMNOA") slowly crept by, stopping and restarting twice before finally proceeding on northward toward Valley Junction. The two lead engines were UP 8402(an EMD SD70ACe) and UP 3862(an EMD SD70M). At the rear of the train behind the approximately 1 1/2 miles of piggyback intermodals was UP 8539(another EMD SD70ACe). Enjoy!!
