cozmikzen is BARRED from his channel for 2 weeks

- his videos are still accessable, we can even comment there. and we can still subscribe :)

- its probarbly a good idea to save some of those videos to your harddrive, and to send some subscribers cozmikzens way, to show support. and we should keep following up on this. and i wouldnt mind if some subs happen to be ending up on my channel ;)

- and also subscribe to nathanforst, his old channel nathanforst1 got suspended completely, apparently because of, in this case, muslim flagging.

- i would like to add an idea: if its true that the suspensions are NOT triggered by acts of civil disobedience against youtube, but only by flagging campaigns... then we should now take the calculated risk and be a little bit harder on youtube. at least some of us. youtube doesnt appear to be vengeful, but they give in to flagging campaigns. so no need to be overly careful when protesting this, unless it invites flagging campaigns (which come from... you know those groups).

I don't think YouTube wants to silence you (Cozmikzen) or don't care about you as the user. They just don't have the manpower to handle all the flaggings and at the same time discuss the flaggings with every single user that has been flagged. They need a better system indeed, but as there's no better system up and running at the moment, I guess we just have to live with the current system. Oh well, that's just my take on it.

other commercial video sharing websites manage to have real people in place to review the videos in question before such important decisions are being made. using automated systems for this is a kind of stupidity is typical to youtube. they could greatly decrease the damage if they would simply NEVER allow automated systems to do suspensions, and only focus on the videos in question, but a really good system needs people paid to watch.

One more thing this douche needs to realize. Free speech is a contract between the US government and it's citizens. It is public domain right. It does not, and never has, extended to private property. Youtube is private property just like a printing press is private property. Youtube doesn't have an obligation to uphold the governments contract with the people anymore than the New York Times does. If you want to buy your own webspace then you can claim the protections of the constitution.
