@xReventonx im also looking for a safe tune for my 9-5 aero auto.
from what i heard HP isnt the problem its Torque.
after 410nm or about 310ish Flbs of torque reliablity goes out the window with the autoboxes i cant confirm this though as all of the big hp 9-5's are manuals.
and i know auto gearboxes have stonger torque limiters. thats why 5 speeds have the overboost function and manuals dont.
but from what iv read the autos will outlast the manuals in stock form wich is cool for dailys

@xReventonx yes :)

no saab never used straight cut gears in their rallytrans. but they where wider gears and no helical. it had a longer(higher ratio) 1 gear and tighter between the other gears. but there is a company in sweden that build straight cut gearkits for the old 900 with good clean dog engagement.

Where can i find aftermarket turbo manifolds for a 97 900
the engines can take ridiculous horsepower, but the trannies cant, ive already seen 2 grenade, havnt had one go on mine yet, but it will soon. also, a turbo on the nonturbo block leads to blown pistons/cracked block. the 2.1 pistons are weaker, and the walls of the block are thiner. best bet is to use a 1984 cc block, and PRE APC pistons, a 2.3 head from a 9000, the turbo from a 9000 Aero and a 3 inch intake and exhaust.
