  • how can i get this game on my computer

  • You can download it at Abandonia. You'll need DosBox to run it.

  • @TheJeh1 GTF outta here! THIS game.........OMG! I LOVE it & occasionally even still play it. This was the 1st RTS I'd ever seen and is responsible for my life long love affair with the RTS & War/Strategy (turn based too) gaming genre. My dream has always been to play against a REAL person. I am not even sure if it can be done via DOSBox. Do you know, and also, would you ever want to play vs me/a real person? Do you like PC Startegy/War gaming? I'd play you in this & other cool games.

  • @gjc82071 I know you can connect two computers online via DosBox for this game, as I have done it before. I can't remember the exact steps, so you'll have to look it up. I think I'll decline playing, though. I know Safe Harbor Games did/does have a Command HQ playing community. I haven't used it, but maybe you could check it out.

  • What did you have to do to get that to run in a modern OS?

  • @avoutthere I ran it through a DOS emulator known as DosBox, available for free at dosbox.com

  • You can download the game and play on safeharborgames against people all over the world..If you like global conquest look at my video

  • @TheJeh1 It's a little unfortunate that you're not interested in playing anymore, but on the other hand, much thanks for the heads up about Safe Harbor Games. I will definitely check into it! BTW, do you do any other retro gaming, or use any other emulators? (Atari, C64, Intellivision, MAME, etc). Thanks again.

  • I've still got this game but the sound and vids dont work :(

  • Had this for Mac back in the day. Spent countless hours on it.
