This is an old elevator hoist manufactured by Epilän Konepaja Oy (Epilä Machinery Workshop), Tampere, Finland, in year 1963, serial number E 625. Elevators by this manufacturer are branded as EKO (short for Epilän KOnepaja). Now the elevator is completely removed and replaced by a brand new MaxiSpace elevator manufactured by KONE Oy, Finland. @mrmattandmrchay Sorry for the very delayed answer. I have photos of the floor selector mechanism. It's very simple constructed with microswitches and fiber lips pushing the switches attached on the slowly rotating steel ring driven by a gear. Elevators made by Valmet-Schlieren used this same floor selector construction.

Facinating! Unusual traction machine this one. That is a HUGE govenor! I can see the "bicycle chain" that drives the floor selector in the black cabinet on the floor. Could have been cool to see how that worked.
