9/11 Tribute Song: "Ten Years" by Sam August

A song I wrote about September 11, 2001. On this tenth anniversary, I think we should put aside all the debates about the wars and the politics and the skepticism about the events surrounding this day, and simply honor all the victims of 9/11 and their families, as well as the heroes of that day and those still fighting for America today. I still remember 9/11 vividly, and anybody who was old enough to know what was happening then should not forget either. "Never Forget" has become a cliche statement of the day, but this event was too important in our lives and in our history to ever forget it. I hope you enjoy this song and the pictures to go along with it. USA.

I too have been writing a song, but in memory of my father who unfortunately passed that day. I've been writing a song for him each year starting in 2007. The one I did is the last one I'm doing as it is getting emotionally harder to do them each year. It is also by far the best one I've done. Anyone thats lost someone on that day can relate I'm sure.
