The fact that you went into a a Beer Distributor and the best stuff they had was Bud American Ale, disgusts me, i like that you said blue moon is a gateway beer, you are absolutely right, It is how i got into craft beer, though blue moon IS NOT a craft, from there it went to Sam Adams and Now i am home brewing If i do buy beer it will be a micro, i refuse to buy macro. Very interesting rant, Cheers!!!!

Oddly enough, I felt the same way about Macros, so do many of my beer drinking buddies. I myself feel that all beers have their place....There are times when I probably will want a light macro lager and be glad it is there...doesn't happen often, but it does happen...depends on situation...I just want people to try different beers.

I tried Becks......not a huge fan.....there are a lot better German beers out there....I personally enjou Hofbrau....I hope I spelled it right....but I do enjoy almost anything Sam Adams....have you tried the Cherry Wheat? I can't seem to find anybody who likes it. But one of my biggedt hobbies is trying all these beers.....from the US and all over......

Actually, I do enjoy the Sam Adams beers...including the Cherry wheat, not my fav ofcourse, but a decent summer beer....the more different beers you try, the more favorite beers you will get....thanks for the comment and keep trying different beers! Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only micro beers ive had is sam's boston lager and irish red ale. i gotta say tha red was tha best tastin beer ive ever had

Honestly, there are soooo many good micros/craft beers out there....many are just as good as Sam Adams and many that are much better......You just have to start buying the stuff you probably never heard of.....see if there are local breweries in your area...

Oatmeal Stout changed my life. Just made a 5 1/2 gallon batch yesterday in fact. Hope people are watching this kind of stuff and paying attention... Drink on brotha... Ty...

I find the need of buttwiper adding tomatoe and lemon lately a joke.. they still forget the vidal indgredient... passion... :) keep with what your doing I enjoy your videos... Im enjoy a few local widmer hefeweizen wheat beers now... now less on the hoppy side, "until they warm up a bit" , they bit.. lol.... You got a great wife.. she seems supportive of your hobby, and deserves my deepest respect too,, Woman intuition man... :D
