i once forgot my homework. but instead of making excuses i said i made it and quickly started to write something down. my teacher asked me what i was doing and i answered that i'm just correcting. than she took my "homework" - and the next day I got it back with a note saying "why did you lie to me?!". Now THATS awkward.
