Yes, it is possible to run your 49cc/66cc motorized bicycle!
If you want the exact information on what you need to do to convert your 2-stroke bicycle engine to run on ethanol/E85, please visit motoredbicyclehacks.blogspot.com!
BTW, it wasn't the ethanol that took the paint off my seat post. B12 Chemtool did that when I used it to remove carbon from my engine. It's cheap stuff and makes for great paint thinner!
The main things you need to do to convert your bike to ethanol:
- Make sure all plastic and rubber parts are ethanol resistant. Same goes for all the gaskets and seals.
- Use the right kind of oil. Normal and synthetic 2-stroke oil WILL NOT WORK!
- Drill your main jet to the correct size.
Again, the exact details are available on my blog. This video only shows the bike running on ethanol.
do you sell these bikes

@RainierDistillers No, I don't sell motorized bikes. There are plenty of sites and ebay sellers that sell motorized bicycle kits.

I have a KTM 125 EXC. May this work?

@edvine20123 I have never owned one of those bikes, but in theory, you probably could get it to run on ethanol given that you are able to replace vulnerable gaskets/seals and you enlarge the jet. Also remember to use an ester based synthetic oil and not petroleum-based oil.
