A Communist society is not a Utopian society. I must agree pollitical and social equality is favorable. But, In an imperfect world democracy is the lesser of the evils. Just so you know I am an Athiest not some Klans man or Nazi trying to kill you and set up a fascist government. I don't want to hurt you in any way. You deserve to say what you want, but communism is not the answer.

@VivaLaDuche I find it amazing that people belive that a communist goverment will be able to come to the US. The truth is a communist takeover never happen in a true deomcracy that actural repersents the interst of the people.

Lenin created the foundations of the KGB after he became paranoid of the West, unless you are a complete moron you have to admit that the KGB used terror to control the people.

There was a civil war going on in russia and it was being attacked by 21 countries of the 'west'. That caused the communist leaders in russia to adopt a more military approach, they banned some of the political parties that were active in waging war on them.
That wasn't intended to continue.. You can't blame Lenin (or Marx for that matter) for things that he never intended and were out of his control, for the developments and distortions that came about after his death by Stalin?

Remember, Lenin was dead when Stalin took over and exploited the situation.
All countries have police forces, Stalin used them to take democracy away from the people. Lenin was spinning in his grave!

But that didn't stop Stalin draping himself in Lenin's glory and trying to make out that he was just following on in Lenin's footsteps.... that was just Stalinist propoganda.

Lenin hated Stalin and made this clear in his 'testament'.
