Good video my friend, 73 from KC9TET

That repeater, W4IAX, is a monster -- solid coverage from Pascagoula to Pensacola. I have even worked through it here in Memphis during a band opening (thanks to different tone frequencies, the Memphis machine on the same frequency wasn't an issue).

Be nice to see more video's

haha samson was in my neck of the woods, i used to live down there, i moved up to huntsville, but dang 90 miles or so is a pretty good distance, when i get my new truck im puttin a nice little 2 mter in it wid a 350watt amp,

No, the length of the antenna deals with the frequency, not the range of the signal. As the radio frequency increases, the shorter of antenna you need. To get range, you need an amplifier usually.

i love to learn it, do you need a long antenna to get a longer range? nice video yeah.
Nice video mate. Make more ham video's.
see you soon (5 Stars)
