  • when do they get together to play and dance?

  • @rosesambolin believe they still meet on Saturdays around noon until dark.

  • This is DARK MELANIN at it's best! I'm feeling it!

  • @RuphosTehutiRa Thank you dear brother. Every time I view it, it takes me to some spirit filled places. Certainly reconnects me to the ancestors.

  • ahh...looks amazing...im just curious but would it have been cool for a white dude to join in on the drumming...?...i just dont see any there...but believe me i wouldve...love the drum...

  • Sorry dude, gotta be of African decent to participate in this circle. Just kidding, just kidding. It was just this particular moment. This is a drum circle that's been going on for over thirty years in Harlem which as you may or may not know is a predominately black and latino neighborhood in NYC, but due to gentrification, there is an increasing number of whites and asians moving to the neighborhood so the drum circle is beginning to reflect the changes of the neighborhood.
