i watch anime a lot, and sometimes they say "hontoni" which is translated to "really" so, can you say "hontoni arigato" or "domo arigato"? and another thing - is it better to say "gomen nasai sumimasen" instead of "arigato" ? when someone gives you something or shows you the way to a store etc?

That is very nice to know about these phrases and I have to learn them. I love the videos where I learn one sentence a day and hope I am able to remember it when I get to Japan. I loved being in the Tokyo area, and also on the island of Okinawa.
