@JediLDS I have tried Moroni's Promise on many things not just whether the BOM was true. I prayed sincerely if the girl I was dating just before my mission was to be my wife. I received what I believed at the time to be a strong personal witness from God that I was, after my mission she was already married. This is just one of many examples. Also what about Muslims who get a personal witness that there church is God's only true church. Those witnesses you call them can be deceptive.

@JediLDS I have read the BOM cover to cover, many times. If one wanted to know if Nazism was true would they only read Hitler's book Mein Kampf? No, they would also read what the critics of Nazism also say. Then If they after hearing all the facts, still wanted to believe in Nazism, fine. That is why I am happy for you. You know all the garbage of the church & still believe. Good for you! Tell everyone else the whole truth, too & if they want to join the church, I will also be happy for them.

@Gods1truechurchmyass You want all the truth? Read the Book of Mormon--cover to cover-- and pray about it. If you are genuinely sincere and open-minded, the truth will be given to you by the power of the Holy Ghost. That's what happened to me.

However, I'd guess that you don't really want "all the truth". What you want is more fodder with which to diss the LDS church.

@JediLDS Please enlighten me then. Make sure though it is official church doctrine from your prophets and not BYU apologetic conjectures. They have no bearing on church doctrine. Also, don't try to enlighten me with half truths like the church depicting Joseph Smith as a non polygamist in all of the Church published pictures and videos made in the past 20 years. I want all of the truth.

@JediLDS My Marklars are wise and true: You really need to read Section 132 again: Verse 15. I guess that it's doctrine, but where doctrine conflicts with modern revelation, revelation trumps doctrine, unless there is more recent revelation, then that revelation trumps the former revelation.

@JediLDS Why is the church losing members in record numbers? Why is there not any proof of the historicity of the BOM? Why are American Indians from Asia when the BOM says they are from Israel? Why does BOM God say he changes color of peoples skin based on righteousness? It is complete Garbage. Why was God discriminatory to Blacks so they could not hold the priesthood? finally why would God have so many crazy rules to make it so difficult for us to discern if it is Gods true church? Garbage!

@JediLDS Why did the church lie about how much money they spent to fight prop 8? only to be fined by the government. Why didn't God tell Monson that it was useless to fight against Prop 8 because it would be overturned in court and the LDS time and money would be better spent for the poor or other humanitarian causes?
