  • hey man! nice video. i feel you missed out though! i bought the 2011 model in may last year and got 105 brakes, mavic askium race wheelset and a carbon seat post.

i paid £1540 quid, which i got down from the £1800 list price by shopping around.

The fsa crank set is because of the bb30.

the 2011 is exactly the same as the 2012, just a different paint job.

I would recommend a pair of ksyriums and some schwalbe ultremo tyres. also an 11 tooth ring on the cassette. great frame tho isn't it!

Yeah, it's an awesome bike! I actually bought the 2011 model and they sent me the 2012 model by mistake. I felt that there wasn't an extreme difference, so I just kept the 2012 model. I actually don't have a problem with the FSA crank, even though it is a bit heavier. I do, however, have my other Bontrager wheels on it currently and just use the stock wheels it came with for training rides and such.

  • dear poster,

what is your favorite feature of the bike? why did you pick this bike over say a schwinn stingray? i prefer the 105 crank myself. the stock stem is great, but the one you put on is just as good. but the supersix highmod is alot better in general

  • Sweet Bike! Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone for a Supersix. I picked up a Caad10 four months ago and have put over 1000 miles on it. I really love it though. If you are looking to upgrade wheels anytime soon, I just picked up a pair of Williams S30s for just under 500 and I love them. I also have their system 58s and they are another awesome wheel.

Just a personal preference, take the plastic disk out of your rear wheel. The bike looks so much cleaner without it.
